DVD Decrypter Question

I have a question and couldn't find the answer in any of the threads or walk-thrus.

Background, I current burn with:

DVD Decrypter (ISO'ed the DVD)
DAEMON Virtural Drive
DVD Shrink 2.3
Nero


A couple of times, I forgot to Decrypt the original DVD and took the main movie via re-authoring in DVDShrink. The burned movie works fine.

Does anyone know why the un-decrypted movies worked?

DVDShrink also decrypts, I imagine it brute-forces (or decrypts via other methods) the files when it encounters encrypted files.

Does using DVD Shink or DVD Decrypter have any bearing on the quality of the video stream?
