pal problem

hey guys

i'm re-encoding a progressive pal source.. well viewbitrate says it's interlaced but i don't see any interlacing lines so i encoded it progressive (progressive and top field first checked)..

the thing is motion doesn't look right.. it look kinda like when you encode a interlaced source with the wrong field order.. flashy jerky motion..

any idea what could be the problem?

i've done dozens of pal progressive sources and never come accross this problem..

Maybe you overlooked the interlaced lines? I'd try again with settings for interlaced video. And most of the time you don't check Upper Field First in CCE, read the FAQ in this forum.
