Hi, I am encoding some episodes of Kenshin for a friend of mine in VCDs. I had TMPGEnc set up so that I fit 4 episodes of about 185 MB each plus the opening and ending in one CD, and I saved a template just for that. But I had to reinstall Windows due to a lot of problems I had (gotta hate Windows) and I ended up losing that template, cos I had a million things to backup and I forgot that.

But now I just can't remember them for the life of me, I was trying a lot of stuff but nothing. Everything I'm trying now is giving me episodes with 199 MBs, it's really weird.

My question is, can I find them out (bitrates) by looking the encoded files that I have on my hard drive from before reinstalling Windows with some program?

I've tried that with VirtualDub but it didn't give me accurate information.

Oh btw, this is not a regular VCD, I took the KVCD template as a base but I modified some stuff, like I used 2-pass VBR etc.

I appreciate any reply. Thanks. :D

Ok, I installed an older version of TMPGEnc and it's all working as it should now, I have no idea what was wrong with the newest one, or maybe something in my configuration, that no matter the bitrate my episodes were always 199 MB in size (funny thing is if I de-muxed them, they appeared in the proper sizes, and if I re-muxed them they went back to 199 MB). Really weird.

Just thought you should know. :)
