View Full Version : Bug? When opens the preview d2s will close.

I found some strange "bug". When I have selected DVD to DVD, and have al settings done, I hit the button preview. He what happens? Where is d2s? It seems that when I hit the preview button, d2s will close. :eek: Did I do some thing wrong? Checkt it again and again, with several DVD's but everytime when I hit the preview, d2s closed.

Please some advice.

I'll bet you have subs selected? I noticed the same thing the other day and reported it. Uncheck subs, do your preview, then recheck subs. It will get figured out soon I bet :)

Don't bet, DDogg :D I will lose the bet.
After a quick check on it, I can confirm your answer.
With subs selected, and hit preview d2s will close.
With no subs selected, I can see clearly now :D

Bug already fixed, however I'm not in a position to give you an update yet. Maybe tonight.

@D2S,

Sorry, but I think you give me the wrong link, when I follow it, it's send me to your homepage, http://www.dvd2dvd.org/ I can't find a new version there, I DL for sure the version 1.2.1 build 2 that I found there, but that give me the same bug before. Preview with subs d2s closed, no subs selected preview is good.

Turn of any personal firewalls you might have running and possible proxies too.

Works fine for me. The name of the build is D2S121B2a.rar. Just replace the dvd2svcd executable.

thanks for your swift correction. I had this problem and it's great to start looking for a relevant thread discussing a mutual problem and discover a fix :)

...and as long as you won't get tired of hearing I won't get tired of saying so - dvd2svcd is one h**l of a tool. thanx!
