Is it possible to hold the menu structure?

Hello,

I have done some testings, and it seems that d2sbecome a pretty nice program. I was a SVCD builder before this new version came, and I think that I have done more than 100 backups,all DVD to SVCD.
And now we have some pretty new function extra :D, and still I have at least 1 whish, and that will be the menu, I find it pretty to have the menu on de DVD. Is it possible? Can it be done with a other program? Please some backfeed.

You can use CloneDVD from www.elby.com, with this program you can choose for the whole DVD or only whatever you want to backup from the DVD.

No that was not what I had in mind. I was hoping in combination with the good dvd2svcd, and not with a compress machine:D :D

I'm even curieus, are there more people out there that would like have the menu structure on the DVD, or is this a strange thing for you?? Maybe if there a enough request for, d2s will think it over;)

I would love to be able to keep the menus with dvd2svcd...I hope it is one day included...

I know there are some programs that can generate SVCD's with menus,
for example the Ulean VideoStudio.

It would be great if dvd2svcd could extract the dvd menu and convert
it to an svcd menu.

Although i don't think that will ever happen because the author
doesn't seem interested in svcd's anymore, he seems focused on
the dvd to dvd funtion only.

in reply to your answer. It is not possible with DVD2SVCD, which encodes only the main movie. But however there are many manuals that can teach you how to re-author the DVD with all the features.

You can look at the advanced DVD authoring pages or the guides within Doom9's Forum.

An usefull program could be Re-authorist.
