DVD Shrink 3 beta 5 Bug

Hi, just reporting a bug that happened to me. Just tried Simpsons DVD Season 3 set. Seems that after using DVD Shrink Beta 5..once you start up the DVD (with PowerDVD) and click "Play All" PowerDVD basically kicks out. You can play episodes individually no problem though. Weird...

Other than that, no probs with beta 5 - it's great!

Did you try to apply region-free? Try not applying region-free and seeing what happens...

Have you even done a search on "Simpsons"? :eek: You would've found this recent thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=365490#post365490).

By the way, it's not a bug with DVD Shrink 3.0 beta 5. The other rippers were having problems with it too.

Hi, yes - I did search elsewhere but it didn't really reference my problem. I've tried with and without Region-Free and with and without Remove P-UOPs.
I also didn't get any Region Playback message.
The episodes work fine if I play them individually but the Play All doesn't work.

(Disks 1 & 2 work fine....)

Try GET VTS SECTORS in IfoEdit on original ripped files, then transcode.
Something like this happened to me on Taxi 3 and this works.

Use SmartRipper to rip the disc, and then remove PUOs and RCE protection using IfoEdit 0.95. The rip will now work properly and you can then use any other program to compress it without issue.
