I have recently downloaded a couple of avi files [Edited by Moderator for R6 violation] and when I try to preview them via AVI Previewer no matter how big the file gets I can only preview 6-10 seconds of the avi. Would that suggest that the avi files are faulty as I have tried to PM the people that I am downloading from but they never reply. Once I have downloaded the files I cannot view the file, I have tried Virtualdub which scans the file and tries to fix it. I have tried TMPGEnc but it wont load the file. Is there some other program that I can try to save the file.
