resizing playback window

i have a couple of divx's that are slightly stretched, height wise. i don't want to download them again since i've got the data physically.

can someone point me to some information about how to resize this playback window (vertical axis only)?

If I want to squeeze my movies (during playback) I use ffdshow.

Download Media Player Classic for playback. It has vertical and horizontal adjust. Ffdshow is too complicated for that.
