hi,

here is a log of dvddecrypter:

I can not copy any of my dvds to hardrive (98se).
I put the drive in a w2k machine and it seems to work but only at 1x speed.

any idea ?

No, but your drivers in Win98 are.

Either fix those, or disable DMA.

hi,

thanks for your reply. I'll check that but I'm sure I never installed any IDE drivers
cause they are not needed. so there is some ms driver broken ? isn't this driver also used
by my dvdburner which is 100% functional ?

shall I re-install aspi drivers ?

Well if you've never installed any motherboard/ide driver updates, now is your time to start.

Like I said, you could always just disable dma on the drive via device manager.

Search google, it is your friend :)
