Hey people,
When encoding from ac3 to ogg I've always used oggmachine using the "normalize to 97% of maxgain" option. I thought I'd give hybrid gain a try instead using the following command -
"C:\Utilities\DivX Tools\OGG Stuff\Ogg Machine\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "D:\Films\The_Claim.ac3" -output "D:\Films\The_Claim.ogg" -logfilea "C:\Utilities\DivX Tools\OGG Stuff\Ogg Machine\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -L -3db -c normal -s surround ) -ota( -hybridgain -d 0 ) -ogg( -q 0.350 ) -profile( The OggMachine v0.62 )
However, the output ogg file is very quiet, is this normal when using hybrid gain? I can fix the low volume using besafe, but then the LWING_GAIN values goes up to 4.55 when compared to the usual 1.000. Any ideas as to whats wrong?
Thanks
