slow playback .. gforce2 gladiac mx

hi is there any solutions to slow playback prob when i'm watching any divx or xvid movie.

my pc is 466mhz celeron
32mb gforce2 gladiac mx
192mb sdram
sb live value

installed..
latest bsplayer
ffdshow
divx 5.05
latest graphic card driver installed
OS win2k & 98se

the avg frame rate achieved is so low (less than 18).. but the sound is ok
any idea y?

does this have to do with the graphic card?

No it's your processor. I can playback things on an old TNT2 with a 700 Douron and get a great framerte.

One of my PC's has a GF2MX with an P3'933MHz, and It plays everything smoothly... :)

Sure HD-Content runs not smoothly... :D
