Hi all,
When I encode a DivX5 in two passes with virtual dub manualy, the psydo-avi file created during the first pass gets about 3 to 5 megs in size while the second pass file gets the expected filesize. This behavior is IMO correct.
Now I take G-Knot to automate this job and tell Gknot to do "both passes" in the DivX-encoding control panel and started the job. Virtual dub is lauchned by GKnot just as expected but during the first pass the avi-file already gets as big as precalculated and is already playable. This can't be correct. I assume GKnot fails to tell the codec/Vdub properly that I want to do a 2pass encoding.
I looked into the Guides for help but the actual divX5-Gknot-Guide seems to be about an older version of GKnot.
