a - added
f - fixed
r - removed
c - changed
n - note

V1.3.7 Small changes (impressive what you can do with some feedback :)

a - a subroutine which checks InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editors registry
keys, if necessary changes them to the new format and tries to fix
possible language issues.

a - advanced error handler to the reading of InstantCopy Hidden Settings
Editors own settings. This will ensure that if for any reason a settings
value is still corrupted, simply the default value will be set instead
of running into an error.

a - 'Change ResizeMode to automatic if necessary' option to
'One Click Solution'. If selected it will change InstantCopys ResizeMode
to automatic if set to anything else. Suppressing the customization Dialog,
but also taking you the ability to customize the disc before processing.
After the disc is processed the ResizeMode is reset to its original value.
If not selected, the ResizeMode you have choosen in InstantCopy is used,
leaving you with full control on how InstantCopy should act.

c - the dialogs resizecode, again. It could still happen on WinXP that the
command buttons at the bottom would be cut off in the middle. The new
code should be able to handle sizing issues caused by skins better.
(reported by: eDealer)

c - unified the way InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor stores its own settings
in the Registry. The new format is easier to maintain and should avoid any
issues that could be caused by diffrent language Versions of the VBRuntimes

c - by request of MackemX (T.P.F.K.A. MisterX) all references to MisterX into
MackemX

f - When the DiscData path was empty and you executed the Wipe DiscData an
Error 53 would be raised and InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor would
terminate (also reported by: eDealer)

f - Runtime Error 13 Bug when starting InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor which
supposingly was caused by an incompatibility of a function in different
language versions of the VBRuntime (reported by Fastolfe)

f - a Bug which caused the BrowseForFolder Dialog to popup twice when selecting
'Extract Files' in 'PDIControl'. A pretty stupid bug that is, somewhere on
development i managed to actually call the subroutine twice :) Sorry bout
that! (reported by lrosado)And just to prevent any Questions: YES, support for InstantCopy 8 will be added to InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor.
NO, the current Version does not support InstantCopy 8
NO, there will be no support for InstantCopy 8 before it is officially released. And that means available at Pinnacles WebSite, and not any other means of availability! So please be patient!
As soon as InstantCopy 8 is released, support for it will be added as fast as possible!

Enjoy the new release, which is available at the usual places:
mrbass.org & cdrbase.com

I think that NOW is the time to work with "Instant Copy Hidden Settings" for IC8...

This morning I received an E-Mail from FedEx informing me that I have a package from Pinnacle (IC8) in their facilities. When I checked my "Order Status" in Pinnacle's estore website I comfirmed that my order of IC8 was shipped 3 day ago...

IC8 is for sale in Germany already (v251). The most important registry entries were not renamed, only moved to a different key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\vob\cd wizard\7.5\Copy]

There is also a file named "AdvancedSettings.txt" in the installation directory describing the advance settings.

So even without a new HiddenSettings Editor, one can easily take over all the setings for the old registry key [...7.0\Copy].

it's much nicer with a fancy GUI but I've always liked the dirtier methods anyway :D

it will be released soon I guess as it's out there now, but like you say you can simply go into the registry if you know what you are doing and play with them yourself

there are some settings that ain't in the advanced text file but you can still change them for your own benefit but I'll just leave it till ICHSE is released anyway as I've past all my info onto The Mad Guy and it's all in there now if it weren't already in (apart from my IHS file, I will send it soon TMG ;))
