Is there any way to fix MPEG flags on poorly mastered material?

Is there any way to change the MPEG flags on a ripped DVD? "Snatch" superbit is flagged as video during the middle part of the movie...so it combs like crazy for about 45 minutes. You'd figure as much as Sony gouges you for superbit DVDs they could at least flag it right!

-Demux out m2v stream using vobedit.
-Change flags using pulldown
-Remux m2v back in using ifoedit
