I just bought an NEC 1300 (£121 delivered from Scan) and I'm interested as to what Buffer Underrun protection it employs, like Burnproof or whatever.
No reviews, or even NEC's own spec sheet, mention this.

Interesting - I actually don't know anything of the technical differences between the methods but have had various CD burners with burnproof or JustLink and all I can say is:
It makes no difference to me how much buffer a burner has if the "burnproofing" works. The NEC1300a certainly makes perfect DVDs every time for me - even if I run DVD Shrink at the same time !
