Ok guys, i would like to say there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people that dont ask them. But however, i get the funny feeling that i will be the exception for this rule.

Im working with crappy pal anime source which i believe we all hate.

I need to reszie to 512x384 which i can handle, but i also need to crop out the black lines which i would like some advice on. Any rules or stuff like that.

As i know, my pal stuff is interlaced, recommend a good deinterlace.

Need to clean noise and get a clearer picture. Any advice here.

If you know of a fliter or a url that works good for anything here, please paste any information.

How about you delete your own post :)

Then you could start again with what you've done so far to help yourself and then maybe a link to a small sample with a request for anyone to recommend any changes to your present script.

Instead of I have a bad source and I want it to look good :rolleyes:

I have tried a few things, thanks go out to hakkou cause he did help me out a lot with trying to do a lot of different things to get the best result.

but i was looking more for possible ideas than anything. Like this fliter is good for this, i can recommend it and stuff like that.

But if you want more info i have tried both nandub and vdub mod, doing the fake avi and applaying fliters though both encoding programs. I have also tried avisynth, using xshaper, smoother and noise reduction fliters. It looks alright at certain parts but still not the best you can do.

I think the term is ghosting, like you know you have a person arm on screen, around the arm lines you get dots that make the frame look messy and stuff like that.

I dont think i have any problem with the steps before processing, i think my problems are with the video encoding, not using the right fliters, not getting clear picture, i even though it could be because im cropping wrongly, but im not sure if that is the case.
