Problem with DVDXcopy

I'm try ing to backup Red Dragon, and when DVD X copy trys to read the disk in the first step I get an error Message that says "Error Occured Reading Sectors" Then after hitting OK it says "Unable to Read DVD" anyone know what the problem is? And did I wast my money on a program that only backs ups some DVD's and not all?

Rip to an .iso or ALL files (Ctrl-A) with dvddecrypter. If you get an error than you know it's a physical defect on the dvd itself.
