Hello All,
I have made my first venture into burning episodic DVDs and have found it a somewhat frustrating and maddening occupation. I am starting with the first season of Farscape Disk 1 which contains two episodes.
DVDExpress and other programs have successfully grabbed the first of the two episodes but seem to miss the second.
I have used Smartripper and DVDDecrypter to rip to harddisk. I used DVD2One to fit to single DVD and I can play it back on my computer but burn it to DVD and put in player and it pukes after Title 2 - FBI warning.
I have tried shrinking with DVD2One and putting Movie Only VOBs in a subdirectory, renamed VoBs as VOB_01_1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Each episode has seven chapters. I used Infoedit to Create IFOs..burn to disk. This results in a single title with 14 chapters. It plays first episode and starts the 2nd episode but then reverts back and starts playing the first episode again.
Seems like a good DVD authoring program would work. Just take the episode VOBs (episode-only) and create a menu, etc. Any recommendations?
If anyone has discovered an easy way to put 2 Farscape episodes on a single DVD, please let me know. I have been pouring over the various forums but nothing seems to be working for my Farscape issues yet. Thank God for DVD+RW. :)
Thanks,
Jon
