View Full Version : AC3 Muxing problem

Does anyone happen to know how to get a 32ms audio frame interleaved AVI file for AC3 muxing?

I've seen it as an I/L value with a G-Spot scan of some AVI files, but I can't get it done myself.

The video/audio out of synch problem that is related to this question only happens when I split a file into 2 or more files and the first AVI file is always in perfect synch.

PS: Might be an idea to add another Forum section for muxing question, since this question was more audio related, I put it in here.

I think you can do it with virtualdubmod.

If you output to MKV, it should always be in perfect sync (the first audio frame of the 2nd file would not be set to 0, but to whatever is needed to maintain sync)

VirtualDubMod didn't work for me, perhaps I'm missing a setting, but I'm pretty familiar with the program and whatever I tried failed.

As for Matroska, I plan to switch to that media container format very quickly, but for the moment I need to get it working in AVI.

Any help is appreciated
