I know there might be a few topics around on this, but I've spent the last two hours searching and trying to figure this out and I can't. I know the channel orering for the Nero MP4 plugin has to be c/l/r/sl/sr/lfe but I'm not sure how to do this for DTS -> AIFF. Here is my current commandline for Azidts.exe

"C:\Program Files\Gordian Knot\azidts.exe" -manualch -oc,l,r,sl,sr,lfe -core( -input "d:\EAGLES_HELL_FREEZES_OVER\VIDEO_TS\a.dts" -output "d:\EAGLES_HELL_FREEZES_OVER\VIDEO_TS\a.aif" -6chaiff -logfilea "C:\Program Files\Gordian Knot\BeSweet.log" )

I don't know if the -"oc,l,r,sl,sr,lfe" is correct or even neeeded when going from DTS -> AIFF in Azidts. Could someone point me in the right direction.

Also, under the InterVideo DTS decoding options, what should the "Vocal" option be set to.

Finally, what bitrate should I use in Nero 6 (I was thinking the transcoding preset).

i think there is some little limitation that u must know first :

- u need a registered version of windvd (else the iviaudio.ax file will create u a silent .wav file)

- besweet can't create file bigger than 2 gb (and a 6 channel file need a lot of space).

try to create 6 wav mono (-6ch switch) and i hope for u nero support multifile input.

I've got WinDVD 5 Platinum already, that works fine. As you should be able to see, i'm creating an AIFF, not a wav, and as such there is no file size limitation. Nero doesn't support multiple file input.

Thanks anyway, anyone else?

aziddts.exe use besweet.dll and besweet can't create file (not only .wav) upper than 2gb.

A work-around for the wav-problems is to set '5.1 AIF' instead of '5.1 WAV' in the BeSweet output options! Nero will read it nicely, even 10 GB files (thanks to ChristianHJW for this tip!)

but an ac3 plugin would of course still save time and space...

I'm sorry but this isn't true. I've created a 3gb AIFF file now that Nero converts fine, just the channel ordering is stuffed.

Anyway, whether I can make > 2gb files or not is a side issue, all I care about is channel ordering. Is their a way to convert 6 wavs into a multi-channel AIFF?

use BeSweet's ".mux" file option
