How to move a block of subtitles in DVDMaestro (like 1 second earlier or later) or how to export subtitles from DVDMaestro to do it in another program?

U can't export subs from Maestro.
U can shift the subs around by changing the wall clock in the timeline. Change the start of the timeline and the subs shift according to the new timing.

odysseus, i think he asks how to move NOT all the subs but, for instance, 10-15 subs all together. I don't think that this is possible, i have spent too much time to do this, but it can't be done... Maybe on the next version of DVDMaestro! :)

Actually, I was trying to make a joke there!!
Anyway, does anyone have tried DSP v.2.0? Few months ago, I was looking for a decent app that doesn't cost a fortune and while i knew that Apple had bought Spruce, i checked their site...
Then it was version 1.5, which ppl told me that it's ok, but it's not DVDMaestro...
Is the new version near DVDMaestro?
I mean, is it worthy to move from Windows-based dvd-authoring station to a Mac-based one?

i have been using 1.5 for a little while, and i hate it, but thats another story (dvdsp story == dvdmaestro playlist)
i have 2.0 on order, and should be here in the next week or so, depending on when this large island i live on gets the stock.
from the screenshots ive seen, there has been a couple of definate fixes (one obvious one being menu transitions in and out rather than just in), and it looks much prettier.
will let everyone know more when i get it...

Okay, there is no real "export" function in Maestro, but this is what I do as a workaround.
Go to the subtitle timeline, rick click, select "List all subtitles". A dialog box will pop up with all your subtitles. You can actually edit them here. I find it more convenient to select all the subtitles by clicking the upper left most row | column. This highlights all the subtitles. Now press "Control | C" to copy all the subtitles. Open EXCEL, paste this into a new worksheet, and save.
What you do with the EXCEL spreadsheet depends upon what subtitle editor you use. I use Subtitle Workshop, so I save the EXCEL spreadsheet as CSV file, then I rename to STL and import into Subtitle Workshop. Maestro will directly import STL files.
In your EXCEL spreadsheet you have to move the subtitle text column all the way to the right to conform with STL format.
