Best capture for miniDV format to PC

what is the best capture proggy for burning to VCD/DVD from a Sony miniDV camcorder? It is a PAL version, DCR-TRV60E.

First of all allow me to be the first one to welcome you to the forum and the board.

To answer your question I have to explain a bit about the minidv format. The data r stored as digital and can be transfered as such in the pc through a firewire aka ilink aka iee1394 cable.

That said, all programs capable of connecting to a dv camera, r delivering the same quality of video. It is just like copying a file from your hd to a floppy.
