Actually I need to get it working period.
I have demuxed the MPEG2 file as a m2v from the original VOBs, upped the priority of the 'CRI Sofdec' in TMPGEnc. But I still get the 'Unsupported' Error, like the Decoder doesn't exist.
I downloaded the TMPGEnc that comes without the Installer, but I don't think that's the problem. Also the m2v file plays fine in WinDVD.

i don't even know what "CRI Sofdec" is or what it does; but then again, i'm not really looking for that option.
i did have the same problem a few months ago, i demux it like you did, but i don't really remember how i fixed this, all i remember was that i drag my mv2/vob file into tmpgenc and close it, until it accept it; not really a solution, but worth a try.
maybe you should try a newer version of tmpgenc?

Thanks for the reply, I am using the latest version 2.520 and the CRI Sofdec is an MPEG2 Decoder that allows you to open MPEG2 Video files directly into TMPGEnc without having to frameserve through a program like DVD2AVI.
I don't know if I'm supposed to do anything other than I already have, like change the Decoder's settings or something in the registry? It seems to be ran as a DLL when TMPGEnc calls for it, but the only thing that I can see that has anything to do with 'CRI Sofdec' is change it's priority. Which I have to 1, which now means it has the highest priority than all the other plugins so it should be called for first before any of the other plugins.
