Best tft monitor for movies/games?

Hmm..i was wondering,can u ppl suggest a good(or even the BEST) trf monitor on a 600-700bucks/euros budget for games/movies?
maybe a samsung?

umm there is no best...
but well for FPS games you would want one with a fast refresh (dunno the tech term, but how long it takes to switch from a completely white to black screen or similar, for the high contrast in those games). Plus a good contrast is always good :)

Beside the ppl saying sony are the best i also heard samsung are the best - and i still think my samtron looks better than the comparable sony of someone i know (and much better than the no-names in stores ..they have soo poor contrast :). Samtron are samsung devices sold for cheaper (70% maybe), so you might want to try it as well. Umm my 17" samtron was about 650 euro about a year ago, so probably you get already a bigger one for the same price...

PS welcome to the world where 18h in front of the screen causes no headache :D
