Hi,

i followed this guide to replace the audio in a DVD-R.

1) Copy all the files to a folder ( e:g Folder_1 )
2) Now Demux the DVD to another Folder ( e:g Folder_2 )
3) Once you got all the Files M2V & AC3 its time to Re-author them ,we`ll use Ifoedit for this,BUT you can use Any DVD authoring Program
http://www.dvd2dvdr.com/part_iii_Ifo.htm just follow those Steps to Compile a New set off VOBs with your New ADDED Audio..
4) Now this is the Tricky Part....Create a NEW folder (e:g Folder_3 ) NOW you want to copy all the IFO,,BUP,,VIDEO_TS.VOB,,VTS_01_0.VOB ....From FOLDER_1 too FOLDER_3
5) Then you Need to Copy the MAIN Movie VOB to FOLDER_3 ,,VTS_01_1.VOB too VTS_01_5.VOB
6) You will need IfoUpdate from here http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/IFOUpdate-v072.zip
7) Open Up IfoUpdate ,In the Top Box you need to Browse for the Original Movie IFO,,2nd Box you Need to Browse for the Authored IFO ( That was Created with IFOedit) 3rd box Save a Backup Somewhere Different...

Now under Options In IfoUpdate (Tick) AutoCorrect VTS Sectors,,AutoAnalyze IFO,,Tick all To Options.....Then Under MODE Select Standard

9) Then Click Update IFO....

When i want to use IFO-Update there's an error message:

New authored IFO has 1 PGCs
Original IFO has 2 PGCs
...
...
WARNING: Source to destination mismatch
Original time = 02:12:48
Newly authored time = 02:12:47
WARNING: Source to destination mismatch
Original file has 36 chapters
Newly authored file has 38 chapters

how can i prevent this?

when i use the IFO file created i got a delay of 9 sec in chapter selection, means every chapter starts 9 secs to early when i choose em in the Main DVD Menu... i think it has something to do with this 2nd PGC cause it is about 9 sec long...

thanks for your help!

When i choose "adjusted cell mode" it gives me following error:

Error: Original/New cell count's don't match. ABORTING.

UPDATE: it finally worked now! Seemed to be a multiplexing error before... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

is there another work-around, please ;-)

Hmmm...Hopefully, the author of IFOupdate, JDobbs, has an immediate solution.

I'm afraid the reauthoring of the title resulted in a different structure then the original:

Original 2 PGCS - newly autjored 1 PGC -> this is a no go for ifoupdate
Original 36 chapters - newly authored 38 -> ifoupdate will work although chapters don't match (I think)
Source to destination error - don't worry about that, happens all the time.
