remove a small scene

I have a younger bro and he wants to see some of my movies but I want to cut some small scenes from the movie so I want to know how to do it and if it possible to keep the same menu and subtitles.

rip dvd in file mode. import dvd video and use the edit/chapter mode to delete scene. then compile and burn.
Ithink this would be the easiest, but maybe somebody knows better way...

import with what? and I dont want to delete the whole chapter.

You will have to setup chapter marks, but that only takes 1-2 minutes.

Of course this is possible only if the original is a dvd5 or shrinked into one.

@dvd_maniac. Can u keep the original menu structure if you follow your suggestion or u have to reauthor the whole thing?

you would have to reauthor it, with either proggy you could choose no menu or use one of the templates. Since he said for his little brother, I didn't think he'd care about menus though. That's why I reccomended them.

I think with both you can create oversized and shrink after. Also my main method of changing chapter points on ovies where I hate the current ones and cut out credits on movies that are just a tad too big.
