I've tried to create a dvdmaestro compilation following that guide. The source is an AC3 5.1 .AVI file (NTSC). I extract the .WAV with virtualdub and later I drag it to BeSliced to create the .AC3 file. Then I import video and audio into dvdmaestro but the preview is totally desyncronized, since the .AC3 file is yet at 23.976 fps.

Could I change it with VirtualDub? Since Doom9's guide doesn't explain that, how do u guys create DVDs from AVIs?

btw, that guide should be improved, imho.

If your AVI file already contains an AC3 file, then why demux it and re-encode it as an AC3? Try to demux your track with VdubMod and that way you can keep the original AC3 file. That might work for you. If it doesn't work, then figure out the delay and then add or delete some blank audio from the soundtrack.

i demuxed the .ac3 with vdubmod, run besliced and dragged it to dvdmaestro. The audio keeps not syncronized with the video since the .avi is in 23.976 fps, while the dvd video has to be 25 (PAL) or 29.9x fps (NTSC), right?

I have no idea on how doing that. can u explain it to me step by step?

Help plz
