Hi, @payasa,
I upgraded seamlessly to 2.52 with no problems at all, even D2S's warning scared me at first. I don't think this has to do with DVD2SVCD.
Please check your Avisynth installation. Sometimes removing the old one first may be recommended.
I the problem persists, follow the guidelines on how to post a problem so we can help you out.

I think there's something wrong in your AviSynth_Script_file.avs file. Please open it with notepad and copy and paste the content here. Or even better :logfile:

Do me a small favor, in the frameserver tab, switch to BilinearResize and then look in the go / preview window. How does the subs look there?
Also the developers of Avisynth has changed the way calculations works. Before it calculated from right to left, instead of left to right which is the proper way to do. That too migth be your problem.
But try BilinearResize first.

in preview it`s showing just fine with BilinearResize.
but with the divx filter and bibubicresize the preview also looks fine.
but my final .mpg seems to be messed up.

Ok, I have found the bug. This bug is only apparent when using External subtitles as Permanent Subs. It'll be fixed asap. The problem is that the subs are being saved as 32 bit bmp instead of 24 bit bmp. So if you have a bmp batch converter you can convert the bmps to 24 bits and then restart dvd2svcd.

Try this:

Remember you have to start from the beginning because the error was in the extraction of the subtitles.

thnx, you did it really fast :D
i will test it at once...
