Audio_ts ?

could someone please tell me what kind of files are stored in AUDIO_TS directory of a DVD. when it is actualy used. i mean does it
contain .wav .ac3 .mpa ect and are the contents of these files encrypted or in a straight format. i know that this directory is hardly ever used i actualy checked my entire DVD collection and could not find a disk that used the AUDIO_TS directory. so if anyone can shed some light on this it would be great

This one is used when playing dvd-a (audio dvd's). It contains aob's and other stuff. AFAIK, it's still not possible to rip those guys.
