August 25 macromedia announced the release of the next version of it MX line of products which including flash mx 2004 professional which improved upon its (non-vector motion) video integration. It's supposed to be 200% faster in playback performance with/at full color framerate and resolution including streaming support. Most notable is it can encode in VBR and has an option for 2-pass encoding.
