I DID search, but none of the methods worked at all.

I have 2 VOBS that make up one episode I want to extract the video stream from, without having to encode.

TMPEG doesn't take .m2v files (WHY!?), I've used the trails for all the MPEG mergers I found, and I can't get VOBEdit to work at all.

They have to be merged, because otherwise Maestro only adds subtitles to the second part of the video.

How can I do this?

You can easily merge/join mpegs with e.g. mpgtx. It is free and here is the link:

http://mpgtx.sourceforge.net/

And maybe TMPEG can work with mpg instead of m2v files - so try to rename it ;).

Hi!
I think a possible solution for your problem is get DVD Decrypter a rip the DVD again.
This app let you extract video and audio from vob's into just one m2v and one ac3 file.
First, go to setting and, under ifo mode, set to not split files, then swith to ifo mode and under strem processing select the streams to be extracted from the dvd. Then check stream processing checkbox and demux radio button. At least you will find a video stream (0xE0), an audio stream (0x80), and possible a subtitle stream (0x20).
More information can be get from a DVD, just take a look at the DVD Decrypter configuration.

Good luck! ^_^

In this case there are two different titlesets (VTS_01_X and VTS_01_x probably). So extracting the way you say will result in two different m2v files too.
