Hi guys

i was wanted to ask when you rip a whole movie using smartripper or dvd decrypter, it only produces a video folder and when i come to burn it with nero, i get a faulty dvd - due to no audio? Is there a way to rip the audio folder too? - or im i doing something wrong?

Also i am currently getting a error with most of my dvds when they are being ripped using both of the above softwares. Usually get this error message after 95 -99%! -So i am currently using copy and paste which takes a lot longer but does do the trick. Anybody what could be there problem there?

thanks

dave

Standard DVD movies don't use the Audio_TS folder, only the Video_TS. audio and video is contained within. IIRC the audio folder is for DVD-Audio, which is an entirely different format. I'd try to read up on some DVD basics on Doom9's guides. Whatever your error message is, it's probably not related to this. More info about the error could help. hth,

I havenīt seen any DVD Video with files in AUDIO_TS directory so far. What version of Nero do you use? I guess that when you choose DVD Video format in Nero it creates both directories (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) automatically.
