This is a little vague. Is there an error message? Does your system freeze? Does Maestro freeze, if so, on every project? at the same point? Are you sure your assets are compliant? Please give a little background with your posts. It will help you get the right answer a whole lot quicker.

Well, the error I got was something like the following: dvdmaestro.exe has generated errors and will be closed.

It occurs after I press the disc image link in the main menu. A window tries to get opened but fails and the error appears.

I built the project from scratch again, I changed source files from one partition to another, but it's the same. I get the same error.

The assets are compliant because I could compile and build it many time some days ago, but since yesterday the disc image tool is not available anymore...

Now I remember I installed some Sonic software to create DVD-Audio. and it was after the last time I built the image for this project.
It's Sonic DVD Audio Creator.

Well, that's all by now...

Thanks!

This probably doesn't help at all, but I've had blue screening in the past when trying to build an image straight after a compile. I found that closing Maestro, then opening a fresh copy (no project file loaded) and creating the image from there worked 100 percent.

1)Exactly which build of Maestro are you using?

2)What operating system are you using?

3)Are you running any other memory or CPU intensive software in the background while you use Maestro?

4)How much RAM do you have installed?

5)Are you scrubbing the Maestro timeline rapidly when this error occurs?

I have other questions, too, but please answer the above first :)

Arky ;o)

This exact thing happens to me.

What i did is first I compile.

Then CLOSE Maestro, restart it and open the project file again. Don't do anything else, click Compile, and it works.

Well, I tested the solution posted by Matthew and it worked.
Anyway, I reinstalled win2k and I got the same behaviour that DVDMaestro had when I began to use it. Sometimes, when I compile and then I do the disc image it crashes, but sometimes not.

Thanks!
