I've been away for about 8 months now... I was last using Gknot and encoding with AC3 audio. Anyone care to tell me what's everyone using these days? Can we finally encode with DTS and play it back?

Yes. You can either mux the dts itself in an AVI/OGM (www.geocities.com/wilbertdijkhof, it probably also works with the latest virtualdubmod) and play it back, or convert it to AC3/MP3 or whatever format you want with the latest Besweet.
