Hi..Can anyone advise on how to take an image sequence ...say image0001.jpg ,image0002.jpg......image60000.jpg and compile it into a playable avi or mpeg ....there's no audio.
thx much...
BTW its for making video from a series of webcam captured images.

Or you can just use VirtualDubMod. Load the first image and it will load all the rest in sequence. Then you can save as an avi or frameserve to an mpg encoder.

Which menu item in Virtualdub lets me do this? and which version are we talking about.

VirtualDubMod, not VirtualDub, though that might work also. I'm using version 1.5.1a, I have no idea how many different builds there are. You just load the first pic in the image and it loads all the rest as frames. File/open video file then load the first pic.
