Someone else using a DVR-105 Pioneer help me out

Can someone else using a pioneer dvr-105 help me out. Trying to back up my dvds, but no luck. My Apex keeps stop or freezing up when playing backed up dvds. Had a 103 before and worked with no problems. Was using prassi primo and spuce, but Primo wont recogince my burning. Tried using smart ripper and dvd2one 112 and nero express, with not luck. Have am AMD XP 1.6 ghz windows 2000. My burner is also an external burner. Will some who is using a Dvr-105 tell me what they are using and how to backup their dvds.

Try using DVD Decrypter to create a HD image, and then burn onto a DVD-R. If it's a DVD-5, that is.
