Hi!

I am all new to videoediting!
I have a nice little digicam and it can record videos 320x240 15fr/sec up to 30 seconds.
But this streams are about 5,5 mb without any suond wich seams very big to me, since 90 min would be ~990mb!

So now I search for a program, which is easy to use and ca do this simple things

) cutting. before, behind and inside the video

) new codec. since its very big i want to compress it at the end. codec for internet-streaming would be nice, but please no real-codec and if possible no quicktime.

) low priority: editign brightness and contrats

) low priority: adding subtitels and/or some sound

thx for your help :-)

hi,
hmmm... you seem to have missed out the forum rules, especially the first one. after being registered for almost a year now i suppose you should have been aware of this... as you should read up before posting again i will close this thread. if you have any problems with the programs mentioned below pls open a new thread in the appropriate forum after reading the guides and searching the forum!

anyway, virtualdub(mod) or more advanced, avisynth are the programs you which will do the job for you...

PS: 5,5 MBit/s seems way too high for me. this would mean that one of your clips would have around 20 megs?! i i capture video with my digi cam i get approx 2-4 megs per clip!
