I Have A Pinnacle PCTV Capture Card, The Video Looks Great But There Is No Audio What So Ever, I Can't Hear Anything When Watching TV On My PC And I Can't Hear Anything From My Captured Files. The cable which I use to plug in to my capture card is a new arieal lead, and I have no problems with it on my tv. The audio cable which came with my capture card has a plug on each side, 1 - to put into my external audio socket (on the capture card) and 2 - to plug into my sound card. I have a sound blaster audigey.

BTW - I've tried pluging the audio cable into all the available sockets (for audio), so don't replay with "make sure you plug the cable in correctly".

Thanks for any help.

So, you tried all available audio inputs...
But, did you activated them with recording part of audio mixer?

Other possibilities are: Bad cable. Card failure.

Window's sound mixers usually have only two settings for recording -- "Mic" and "Line In." Your choice, as well, is one or the other, not both.

I'm guessing, of course, but I'll bet you have it set to "Mic."
