Would someone please tell me which settings to use for DVDPatcher 1.06 for use with Nero 6 and NTSC SVCD source?

Some of my stuff is 44.1 audio, some is 48. Bitrates vary, up to around 5000 or so.

Secondly, can this be done as a batch? If so, how?

You have to re-encode the 44.1kHz Audio Parts.

DVDPatcher Settings... They are the same in PAL and NTSC. Patch always to Half-D1 (352x480 on NTSC).
Then do the Authoring, let the Authoring-Program write a Title Set and patch back to SVCD-Resolution. Then burn the DVD-Structure.

But: 1/3 of the Players i've tested are not able to Play such Discs correctly.

I don't fully follow what you are saying. Nero 6 hides a lot of the authoring stuff on purpose which makes it just fine for some simple menus. Specifically, I don't understand how this relates to patching the size back to 480x480 as you mention. I've also got SVCD2DVDMPG and will use it if that's an easier route.
