DV AVI to DIVX

I captured and edited a movie in premiere and saved it as a DV avi file, but it's 15 gigs. whats the best app/method to encode it to Divx so that i can get it around 700mb. The audio is PCM. I've used several of the guides to go from DVD to AVI but never from AVI to AVI. please help. thanks!

You've managed to break two rules in one post!

fezdmonkey, this question has been asked quite a few times before, so it should have showed up if you had done a search! And try to avoid the phrase "what's best" as this breaks another rule!

That said, you could give DrDivX a try. It has a staight forward GUI and makes conversion of DVavi to DivX very simple.
