View Full Version : Can't change output folder?

My goal is to have my source for my encode stored on one hard drive (D:), and have the output written to another (c:), so as to take some load off each drive. I am using CCE 2.5 (installed on c:) and 9 times out of 10, it always outputs my .vaf and my encoded file to whatever directory my source is in. I have tried using both avi and AVS sources, I have tried putting the output folder in various places (ie: root of c:\ vs. desktop), I have used regedit to ensure that the output dir for CCE is in fact set where I want, yet it almost always puts it in the source dir. Yes, I am positive that under the output tab I set it to "Folder Specified Below" and have the correct output folder path added.

The strange thing is, is that every once in a while it will work properly, and I can't think of anything I am doing differently.

BTW: The same thing happens when I use CCE through DoCCE4u and use its settings tab to designate the output dir. 9 times out of 10 it puts it in the source directory, and every once in a while it miraculously outputs to the correct folder.

Has this happened to anyone else before? If this is perhaps a bug with CCE 2.5 then maybe I finally have a reason to upgrade.

Sounds like a bug. Try a newer version.
