@uk people: need info about upcoming die hard box set release

hi,
this is the box set (http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=stcs1&page=title&r=R2&title=128585) in question.

what i'm wondering is, if the titles in this set are the cut or the uncut versions of the movies.

the price on play.com is almost unbeatable, especially considering the free shipment to austria!

anyway, i would really be disappointed if i ordered it and then found out that i was dealing with the cut version (which atm is sold in germany/austria)

That will be uncut at 18 certificate. Not that ceftificates and BBFC ratings matter much. Things at 18 are almost ALWAYS uncut. Die hard series has nothing that can be cut at 18. It would probably pass for 15 these days.

Free postage; even to austria (almost said australia:))... Bargin.

thanks for that info... honestly i'm going to order right away!!

i was just asking, because in germany/austria there's two versions of die hard around. one is FSK 16 and therefore cut really shitty and the other one is FSK 18 (iirc) and the uncut good deal. i know that the ratings in the UK are different from the ones in the german lands and therefore wanted to ask as i'd hate to get the cut version.

And you can always check http://www.bbfc.org/ to see what cuts were made by censors to a UK release ... of course this won't show cuts made by the studio before submitting it for rating.
