View Full Version : Dogma - problem with extras on disc 2

This is my first post so please be kind.

I've been working on the movie Dogma for a few weeks now and I cannot get the second disc to work. What I have done so far is split the movie and then I put some of the extras on the first disc and all on the second disc. The reason why I did this is because part of the extras is the "buddy christ icon". Basically an icon pops up on the screen, you click it, and you go to behind the scenes footage. For disc one I put only the extra features that were needed for that half of the movie. When it came to disc 2 I tried doing the same thing but it didn't work when I clicked the icon so instead I put all of the extras on disc 2. Now when I click the icon it plays the behind the scenes stuff but when it's done with that it returns to the main menu. I want it to continue playing the movie. I have been experimenting and looking for a way to edit the ifo file although I admit I don't know alot about ifos so it's mostly trial and error. If anyone has any insight, suggestions, comments, or questions about my post please let me know. I'll try anything.

Thanks a bunch

P.S. I use DVD Decrypter and IfoEdit.

Here is a list of files on both discs.

Hi,

to asnwer your question and to see if it's possible to do what you want the (content of) ifo files wouldbe of more help.

An other question as well: how does the original behave (i guess this does resume the main movie after playing the extra?)

influenza,
When I play the original it plays fine. It resumes the movie after playing the extras.
I have tried editing the ifo files but I don't understand or know what some of the different commands are.
Do you think that this is something I should have posted in the advanced authoring section of the forum?
Thanks for responding.

I think it belonges in the advanced forum, but don't worry people will read it here as well. I'm afraid that just editing the ifos is not enough here. But I really need more info to make a good judgement.

Let me know what kind of other information you want to know and I'll do my best to give it to you.

I would need to have to content of the ifo files. What commands did you change? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
