I'm trying to backup the movie "Once upon a time in America", and the first disk was backed up OK. However, when it comes to the second disk, after re-authored it in Scenarist, the movie is a mess, the sound is out of synch and the subtitles are all over the places. For example, the subtitle from chapter 5 started first and then go back to chapter 1 etc ...
I had a look at the structure of the main movie file in IFOEdit, and realised that there are about 50 chapters with about 25frames long at the start of the movie and they all had layer break next to them. I found this structure very common in movies that are split over 2 discs.
I'm just wondering, if anybody could explain to me why the movie was done this way, and how to go about recreate the structure so the movie works the way it should. I used re-authorist to created the structure for me and the structure looked very similar to the original
