Pressing twice the menu key

I am authoring a DVD with a title and root menu. I discover that while playing a video and pressing the menu key I get the root menu (OK), but if I press a second time the menu key I go back to the previously playing video. As a solution to that problem I create a dummy root PGC with a post command to a PGC containing the "root menu" and the UOP11 Menu_Call(root) prohibited.
This works fine in the simulation window of Scenarist but when I burn the DVD and play it on my DVD player I still have the problem described above.

What am I doing wrong ?

You did nothing wrong. Whenever you press twice on DVD remote will resume the last video playing. That's hardware issues.

If anything (and I mean anything) is going to work it would be to set PUOP16 (prohibit resume) for the root menu. Forget the linking around to another menu.
