question about VIDEO_TS.VOB

First of all I'm new to DVD reauthoring and DVD authoring in general so please excuse me if it's pretty obvoius.

I'm currently experimenting with Monty Python's Meaning of Life DVD9->DVD5 conversion.

I used CCE to recompress the main movie and IFOUPDATE to keep menus/chapters/etc...

So far so good but it seems VIDEO_TS.VOB contains a bogus
video material to only just maybe make the size of the DVD bigger.
(and our life harder too :-) )
The bogus video itself is one of the series of the old 'Twilight Zone'
series - so I'd like to get rid of this as it would give me an extra ~ 600Mb for the main movie itself.

I wonder how on earth I could cut this 'twilight zone' out from VIDEO_TS.VOB, while keeping the necessary 'good' information encapsulated in it - which is obviously only a couple of Mb in size.
