2 sides dvd with complex menu on the 2 sides

Hy,

I found on the forum how to make dvd5 2-sided -> dvd9 or 1dvd5 with recompress...
But it only for a film.

On sitcom's dvd, like Friends, i have 2 sides with a complex menu on each.
My question is simple : how to make a simply backup ?

To my mind, i think i must reencode all episods and bonus with cce method (as usual) and after i must make a new menu (compiled the 2 menu) with maestro ou scenarist.
However the all menu cretion is rather difficult. So i hope, a better way exist :)

There's no way of making a 'simple' backup.

You should compress the episodes, to make them fit on one dvd-5 which is the easiest part.
Then you should reauthor the menus for both sides of the disc and make one main menu from which you can select either menu 1 or 2.

If I were you and you really want to do this I would make a simple menu myself (based on screenshots) in which you're able to select the episodes, language and subtitles etc.
