Sorry is this has been posted about before, I did search but didn't see...
I noticed that if the vsrip and vsconv included with DoItFast4U is used to rip subtitles then the placement is different from if SubRip is used on the original vobs (on one DVD I tried there was a consistent 7 frame difference in starting value).
However, if subrip is used on the vsrip-produced idx/sub, then the results are the same produced by the vsrip/vsconv combination. Also, the subtitle delay outputted by DVD decrypter matches up with the first subtitle placement when using vsrip.
So my question: is this a known issue and it's confirmed that subrip, when used with original vobs, is innacurate?
Konichiwa :)
