question about TS folders?

Hello everyone-
Are the TS folders linked to any of the scenarist files?
If I delete my cache, target files and the scenarist document but keep the ts folders will I still be able to use record now max to burn my dvd?

Don't forget to make a DVD-VIDEO disc(this means that the format is UDF and NOT ISO!) Don't forget that...
