as i have interlaced mpeg2 material from dv i would like to have it played back un-deinterlaced by the dvd-software-player to get the full interlace-smoothness on my tv.
"mediamatis dvd player" shows the video interlaced, but it seems that it reverses fiel order, because on tv it plays back with heavy artefacts..
is it possible to switch off deinterlacing in powerdvd/windvd?

(sorry for the wrong forum)

tried ligos mpeg2 decoder filter, but it seems it outputs the wrong field order (its video from dv- bottom field first, encoded with field-based-encoding in canopus)

if you want to still use PowerDVD, just go to the advanced video options and select:

* Force Weave

instead of auto-select.
